A new initiative launched in Shetland
The official launch of the Sharing Shetland Surnames initiative takes place on Sunday, 8th June. Throughout the summer months there will be a surname of the month, look out locally and in media outlets as well as on this website for announcements and further information. Surname of the month for June is Gifford.
