Finding our premises
You will find Shetland Family History's offices inside the Shetland Amenity Trust building at Garthspool – a stone building with green woodwork.
If you are driving, the easiest way to get to Holmsgarth is from the roundabout beside the Co-op supermarket. Follow the road that passes between the Toll Clock Shopping Centre and the small dock. After passing the dock, turn left and you will arrive at Holmsgarth.
We have some limited parking around the building and there is parking at the north side of the Toll Clock Shopping Centre.
There are two public entrances, but currently the front door, to the Shetland Amenity Trust, is not in use. We have our own separate entrance on the east side. Our name is on the door and there is a bell to let us know that you have arrived.

Opening times
We are open regularly 2-4pm Monday to Friday, between February and November.
