Using the Kirk Session Records to Plug Gaps. Written by Pam Russell [member no. 1923] this very interesting piece gives us a insight into her use of the Kirk Sessions records at the Shetland Archives in Lerwick with many great examples of the type of information which can be unearthed there.

Two distant relations, Elisabeth and Ralph Sinclair, having exchanged information for a period, remarkably meet for the first time aboard a boat taking tourists around Bressay and Noss.  A lovely account of a memorable research and family trip.
